The PlexPrime® GC+gyrA kit is a single-well, multiplex qPCR for simultaneous detection of gene targets opa and porA(N. gonorrhoeae specific genes); gyrA S91F mutation; gyrA S91 wild type, and an internal control, using PlexPCR® (PlexZyme® & PlexPrime®) technology.

Provides 5 readouts
Readout 1 detects the N. gonorrhoeae opa gene
Readout 2 detects the N. gonorrhoeae porA gene
Readout 3 detects the gyrA S91F mutation (a marker of resistance to ciprofloxacin)
Readout 4 detects gyrA S91 wild type (a marker of susceptibility to ciprofloxacin)
Readout 5 is a control to monitor extraction efficiency and qPCR inhibition
Compatible with liquid handling systems, 96-well reaction formats
