The PlexPrime® HSV,VZV, TP kit is a single-well, multiplex assay for simultaneous detection of targets specific to Herpes simplex virus type -1 & -2 (HSV-1 & HSV-2), Varicella zoster virus (VZV), and Treponema pallidum (syphilis) and internal control, using PlexPCR® (PlexZyme® & PlexPrime®) technology
Why use PlexPrime® HSV, VZV, TP?
Provides 5 readouts:
Readout 1 detects an HSV-1 specific target
Readout 2 detects an HSV-2 specific target
Readout 3 detects a VZV specific target
Readout 4 detects a T. pallidum specific target
Readout 5 is a control to monitor extraction efficiency and qPCR inhibition
Compatible with liquid handling systems, 96-well reaction formats
